In this article, I am going to break down exactly what it is that we, as respiratory therapists, do on the job. This is a very simple and easy to understand summary of the job duties and description of a respiratory therapist, written for individuals who are maybe interested in starting a career in respiratory therapy, or for those, in general, who just do not know or understand exactly what it is that we do (which is most people, unfortunately).

 

What does a Respiratory Therapist do on the job?
